WordPress & React Developer – Executive / Senior Executive

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Design and develop dynamic websites using WordPress and React.js frameworks.
• 2. Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific business requirements.
• 3. Develop custom React components and integrate them with WordPress backends via REST APIs or GraphQL.
• 4. Maintain and optimize website performance, ensuring responsive design and fast load times.
• 5. Collaborate with designers and project managers to implement clean UI/UX.
• 6. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and conduct thorough testing before deployment.
• 7. Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing client websites.
• 8. Stay up to date with the latest web development trends and best practices.
• 9. Perform regular backups, updates, and security monitoring of WordPress websites.
• 10. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or compatibility issues efficiently.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1. B.Tech / MCA / BCA or relevant technical qualification with 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience.
• 2. Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, theme/plugin development, and site migration.
• 3. Proficient in React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• 4. Experience working with WordPress REST API and third-party integrations.
• 5. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and task runners/build tools (Webpack, npm).
• 6. Understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization.
• 7. Strong attention to detail with excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• 8. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within timelines.
• 9. Freelance/contractor mindset with ownership of deliverables.
• 10. Immediate availability would be an added advantage.
