Preguntas frecuentes
A Reverse Air Baghouse is a dust collector system using fabric filter bags, where cleaning is performed by temporarily reversing airflow through selected compartments. The reversed, low-pressure air causes the filter bags to collapse gently, allowing the dust cake to loosen and fall into the hopper below. The rest of the compartments remain operational, ensuring continuous filtration even during cleaning cycles
Dust-laden air enters the baghouse and flows through filter bags supported by cages or sewn rings, which maintain bag structure. Over time, dust accumulates on the inside surfaces. During a scheduled cleaning cycle, one compartment is isolated, and air is reversed to flow inward through the bags. This collapses the bags slightly and dislodges the dust cake, which falls into the hopper. Once cleaned, airflow resumes normally in that compartment
Reverse Air Baghouses offer a gentler cleaning method that reduces wear on filter media, leading to longer bag life. They do not require high-pressure compressed air, saving energy and avoiding freezing issues in cold conditions. Their compartmentalized design allows continuous operation without process interruption, making them ideal for high-temperature or delicate dust applications
